Lunch was an adventure.
I noticed we had ONE of Applegate Farms’ grassfed beef hotdogs left, so I broiled it, heated up some sauerkraut — and made an interesting salad…if I remember correctly, spinach leaves, fresh carrots, sundried tomatoes, olives, crumbled seat tangle, and olive oil. Oh, and a glass of homemade iced tea (unsweetened, of course).

Lunch: Guacamole egg salad with asparagus & ham

Dinner: Huge chicken cobb salad from Panera’s, hold the dressing, hold the croutons, hold the cheese. Avocado, chicken, bacon, tomatoes, lettuce. Oh, and seltzer water.

Snacks: 1 gala apple with sunbutter, organic egg protein shake

Fat 53%, Carb. 22%, Protein 25% 

Today and yesterday were designated “recovery days”.

I spent a lot of it outside. Walking lakeside style, through the woods, mud, then running around in my Vibrams. Stay active friends ;)

BLAAAAAAAAH Check out my new SHORTS & VIBRAMS
I just took them out for a test run. Well, more like a test-play.
I played outside today. I walked home from work, cut through the woods and sunk my Vans into mud. :( Except it kind of excited me SO as soon as I came home I convinced my sister to come out and play with me. It was kind of raining but like warm and smelled like awesome greenery (you know what I mean? Like that fresh-cut-grass-moist-nature-smell). We also invited Stella the wonder pit bull to our adventure. We walk/sprinted/danced for about 1.5 miles, then walk/sprinted/danced back. Then did Jillian Michaels’ 30 Day Shred as soon as we got back. :) A little over 500 kcal burned according to my trusted heart rate monitor.
Vibrams Review: I have a feeling that my calves are going to be VERY VERY sore tomorrow. As we were getting sweaty and ridiculous outside, we of course ran past my ex boyfriend // at which point I totally got embarrassed of my Vibrams which was weird ‘cause I’m not one to get embarrassed usually. So, naturally, I…ran away. No, I mean literally. I ran away from him.
Anyways, I can see how one would have to kind of transition into running with them but I can DEFINITELY get into it and I think I’ll try to get a few light runs a week in with them on. They’re so amazing and comfortable! and as gay as this sounds, I feel way more…”me” with them on vs. my Asics, or my Sauconyz.
Anyways you guys, let me get back to making dinner. ;)

Let me introduce you to one of my favorite work out buddies, Stella. 
She’s always down to run, play, swim, and I swear…when I am laying on the floor doing sit ups, she’ll lay on her back next to me and squirm around. I swear!!
Anyways, I went to the gym this morning, ran back, ran/walked with my sister, did the 30 Day Shred video with my sister…and I kept my heart rate monitor on the whole time. 3 hour’s later, 984 calories burned. Haha whoops! 
It’s beautiful outside and I’m taking Stella for a hike. Bye!

She’s always down to run, play, swim, and I swear…when I am laying on the floor doing sit ups, she’ll lay on her back next to me and squirm around. I swear!!

It’s there, I swear. Also, I’m watching American Idol.
Anyways, today was a day was a day was a day. A good one! I made my sister cancel her plans to work out with me. ;) 
I walked home from work, then sprint/walked about a 5K distance. I am currently suffering from congestion/cough/rash/flu like symptoms. BUT I REALLY CAN’T NOT GO OUTSIDE. IT’S BEEN SO NICE! But, I didn’t run a long distance and I didn’t even actually run the whole thing — so I was bein’ nice to me.
Then, I did some squats and lower body related strictly “body weight” exercises in my driveway…’cause it was so nice out! Then, I came into my house and did a few dead lifts — (maybe I should start tracking the exact numbers? Probably 2 sets of 20 with 30 lbs) …then Jillian Michaels 30 Shredded with my seesta. Nearly 600 calories burned.
Then made a totes delish protein shake for us afterwards.

Meow meow ;) I didn’t have Ghee butter though, so I used a lil’ extra coconut oil and a teensy tiny bit of regular butter. Whoopsy!
