Let me introduce you to one of my favorite work out buddies, Stella. 
She’s always down to run, play, swim, and I swear…when I am laying on the floor doing sit ups, she’ll lay on her back next to me and squirm around. I swear!!
Anyways, I went to the gym this morning, ran back, ran/walked with my sister, did the 30 Day Shred video with my sister…and I kept my heart rate monitor on the whole time. 3 hour’s later, 984 calories burned. Haha whoops! 
It’s beautiful outside and I’m taking Stella for a hike. Bye!

Day 36

I did the math and figured out that tomorrow will be day 36. It’s a soy day.

I will have 2 of my soy shakes, and I’ll get innovative with a popsicle, I bet.

I’m thinking Orange Soy Creamsicle style (Sugar Free Orange Flavoring + Soy Milk + Soy Yogurt + Teaspoon Vanilla + Agave Nectar).

I am waking up early to hit the gym, and I’m starting up on my supplements again. Also, I’m thinking a trip to Whole Foods is necessary.

I have plans to drink 4 liters of water, and do overall an hour of cardio + 45 minutes of lower body weight lifting.

Then, some instant play Yoga on Netflix later in the day.

My Couch To 10K is supposed to be three times a week, and I’ve decided to listen to what I’ve been told (almost, I’ll probably do it every other day). I ran today, so I’ll “relax” tomorrow, in the sense that I won’t be running 4.5 miles.

I could be clubbin’ right now, and gettin’ my dance on (burning extra calories…) but I am exhausted! So, good night. :)

Today’s Rainy Day Work Out…

So, I keep hearing about Fitocracy. I have the app on my phone, and I’ve had it for awhile. I finally tried it today, and I obviously don’t get it. I’ll get a better hang of it tomorrow, and do a longer work out (tomorrow is upper body). But this is my test Day 1, I also did the 30 Day Shred video. Today

Working out in the morning, early in the morning, before breakfast, before coffee, is my ideal. Those are the days that I feel prepare me to confront the rest of the day with confidence and sleep well at night.

I had full intentions of getting up this morning and resetting myself to do just that, buut…I didn’t roll out of bed until around 10:45. Ugh.

Doesn’t matter, I brought all the necessary gym thangs to work with me and am going straight to the gym as soon as I leave. Today is an upper body day, + cardio. I plan on burning 500 calories, at minimum.

And by “upper body”, I mean …triceps, biceps, shoulders, back, and chest. “Lower body” days always include hams, glutes, etc. + abs abs abs. I feel lower body and abs go hand in hand as far as muscles form. Ya know?
